Can't wait to get one. I am so in love with vintage caravans. I was nearly going to airlift one over our terrace to squash it in the backyard as a writing studio until I heard a similar story when the woman's house was busted to pieces. If ever I move to the country, that is the first thing I'm buying! xx
Oh you're the 2nd person I know who's received their frankie...still waiting on mine! We were offered a caravan like that when I was younger, Mum adored it Dad would'nt have a bar of it! Mum & I have dreamed about it ever since...
Oh, it's Constance! And vintage frocks! And..And!
Oh dear. I've been thinking about caravans ALOT (collecting images including constance, 'watching' auctions on ebay...confessions of an addict?).
Do you ever remember a feature years ago in vogue (i think? maybe uk?) on little tiny vintage caravans? it's stuck with me ever since. I'd love to get my hands on those images again!
Thanks for sharing the loveliness.
i love getting my Frankie....and I love seeing other people love it as much as me xx
Can't wait to sit down tonight with a cup of tea and devour Frankie for the not to be the first time for the month
i could spend hours gazing at these pics!
oh what a fabulous magazine. I want that caravan too. My Granny had one like that, I used to play house in it when I was little! Love your blog. Hugs, Catherine x
thanks for the heads up. "Buy Frankie" has just gone on my To Do list for tmrw. Then come home and take the phone off the hook to read and enjoy uninterupted!!! X
Did you get 2 copies of Frankie? One to keep and one to share? I blogged about Lark's opening weekend. Lovely pics. http://hundredsofbuttons.blogspot.com/2010/04/what-lark.html
Love those vintage caravans too - but if you don't want to buy an old one which may be mechanically unsound, I remember seeing a few years ago that you can buy brand new ones with that retro look. And a camper that is called "Teardrop". Also there's a book you can buy out right now called My Cool Caravan - a coffee table size full colour pics!
Go te retro vans!
Oh I need to get the new Frankie!
awww - look there i am! eep! no hiding me moi x
